with the whole family and a great way to get children drinking milk.

The Original Strawberry Moothie

Pretty in pink – an indulgent take on the classic strawberry milkshake. Serves 4.

110g strawberries
200ml Jersey or Guernsey milk
Handful of ice cubes
Fresh mint leaves

Throw all ingredients into a liquidiser and blend until smooth. Serve with a straw and a mint leaf.

Blissful Banana And Peanut Butter Moothie

The ultimate treat for little monkeys. Serves 4.

2 large, ripe bananas
10 ice cubes
1 tablespoon of sugar or sugar syrup to taste
125 ml Jersey or Guernsey yoghurt or cream
4 tablespoons peanut butter
Extra Jersey or Guernsey milk for thinning if needed

Cut the bananas into chunks. Place them in the blender with all the remaining ingredients.
Blend and thin with a little more Jersey or Guernsey milk if too thick, then serve.

Bursting Blueberry Ice Cream Moothie

Blueberries are a super fruit, so this is a marriage made in heaven. Serves 4.

200g blueberries
2 scoops Jersey or Guernsey ice cream - chocolate or vanilla
Jersey or Guernsey milk, chilled

Save a few blueberries to garnish, and put remainder into blender. Add 1 scoop of Jersey or Guernsey chocolate or vanilla ice cream and 125ml of Jersey or Guernsey milk. Blend, then add extra Jersey or Guernsey milk to taste (the less you add, the thicker the Moothie will be).

Pour the mixture into a glass and float the remaining blueberries on top.

Rippling Raspberry Yoghurt Moothie

Tangy, refreshing and terribly good for you. Serves four.

250g raspberries
6-8 ice cubes
250ml Jersey or Guernsey yoghurt
Jersey or Guernsey milk

Put the raspberries, ice cubes and Jersey or Guernsey yoghurt in a blender with enough
Jersey or Guernsey milk to make the machine run. Blend to a thin froth, adding more
Jersey or Guernsey milk as required.

Magnificent Mango And Ginger Moothie

Like a lassi, this Moothie is great after a spicy meal. Serves four.

250ml mango puree, fresh or canned
6 ice cubes
3cm fresh ginger, grated
250ml Jersey or Guernsey yoghurt
Jersey or Guernsey milk
Sugar or honey
4 tablespoons diced fresh mango

Put all the ingredients except the diced mango in a blender and work to a froth. Serve this
popular Indian-style Moothie topped with diced mango.
